Veterinary Partners

Jill Scott, General Manager/Proprietress

Jill began her professional career in human medicine as a rheumatology Nurse.  After retiring from nursing to be a stay-at-home mom to her four children, Jill came out of retirement to first volunteer in District 9 as a Guardian Ad Litem and Criminal Child Abuse Investigator and then went on to be the Founder and Director of Adoption Source, a not-for-profit, International, child placement agency.  Under Jills’ direction, over 2,000 children found their way from orphanages around the world, to their forever families here in the U.S.

When Jill closed the agency in 2008, she turned her attention to pets, and saw the great need for a low cost, high quality pet center here in South Florida.  Pet Life was borne!  Initially purchasing Kookaburra’s (Discount Vet Supply and My Whole Pet Market), Pet Life was a collaboration of ideas to offer good quality pet nutrition, health and beauty products, supplies and a reasonably priced grooming salon plus a deeply discounted full-service animal hospital, all under one roof.  Tired and shocked by the ever rising cost of pet health care, especially emergency care, something had to be done!

The concept came to life….. with Pet Life.  If the pet owner will support Pet Life, by giving us 100% of their pet dollars, Pet Life in return can offer a truly comprehensive, discount center that works with a team approach to pet care.  Each and every department in Pet Life works together to offer the best quality of life for a pet, at a price that works within the budget of the owner.  Everything needed, for the life of your pet!

Florida Panthers Hockey

The Florida Panthers Foundation donated $400,000 to the Broward Health Foundation and its renovation of the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital’s pediatric oncology unit. As part of the renovation, much of the pediatric oncology unit is adorned with Florida Panthers-themed colors, designs and graphics. “In working with the Broward Health Foundation to make this donation, we are making a strong statement that any child or family struggling with this horrible disease is not alone in their fight. Our players, coaches, staff, executives and the Foundation are committed to supporting them in any way possible, and the wonderful new Panthers-themed graphics in the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital pediatric oncology unit will serve as a suitable reminder of that pledge.” The Florida Panthers continues their support of the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital’s oncology unit by bringing holiday cheer to all the children on the 8th floor. Panther players, Stanley C. Panther and the front office staff set up desserts, arts & crafts, and games around the holiday season for all the children and families in the hospital. To top it all off Santa Claus stops by and hands out presents to every child on the floor.

The Boynton Beach Police Department is a progressive organization committed to providing professional service to our community. We operate based on several simple fundamental tenets: *The power of strong relationships*The value of strategic planning*The benefits of diversity*The sanctity of public trust*The opportunities in change*The fundamental belief in our mission. The Boynton Beach Police Department has numerous programs and initiatives designed to improve the quality of life for the residents of Boynton Beach. THE NATIONAL GUARD The National Guard is the oldest military branch. The National Guard’s roots date back to 1636, when colonial militias made up of ordinary citizens would put down their plows and pick up weapons to protect families and towns from hostile attacks. Today, Citizen-Soldiers® hold civilian jobs or attend college while maintaining their military training part time, always ready to defend the American way of life in the event of an emergency. Our unique dual mission: serving both community and country. The National Guard serves both state and federal governments. While the Guard originally focused on protecting local communities, it eventually grew into a force that complements the Active Duty Army when help is needed anywhere in the world. The biggest difference compared to other branches is that while Guard units are combat-trained and can be deployed overseas, they are just as likely to serve in their home communities.
